The green purchasing guidelines have been interpreted by the Maintenance department to require the purchase of Green Seal or EcoLogo certified cleaning products wherever those products are available. Cleaning product purchasing is centralized, so compliance is ensured by the central purchaser. As additional products receive the GS, EC,DfE or GG designation we review and utilize them as possible. Our staff is committed to using "Green" products in our daily cleaning. Our facilities department has been recognized on the state and national level for our committment to use safer, healthier, and lower environmental impact cleaning products.
