The assessment was developed by a team of instructors who deliver the introductory and capstone courses for the Environmental and Sustainability Studies BA program, as well as the required course for the Sustainability Living Learning Community. The intent is to monitor changes in students' sustainability literacy and behaviors over time.


A brief description of how the assessment(s) were administered:

The assessment was administered at the beginning and end of the following semester-long courses: NCLC 210 Sustainable World and EVPP 480 Sustainability in Action. It was also administered at the beginning and end of the year-long course for Sustainability LLC residents, NCLC 275 Leadership for Sustainability.
