Does the institution have programs in place to protect and/or create wildlife habitat on institution-owned land?:
Yes

A brief description of the wildlife habitat program, policy, or practice:

Our campus has designed and is implementing an Eco-Commons on campus. It is a performance landscape approach that includes creating and protecting wildlife habitat on Institute owned land. We have removed surface parking lots and replaced them with wetlands, put them back to their more natural state. Our 13 reforestation projects have provided a habitat for wildlife specieseven though we are an urban campus.
In addition to many birds, squirrels, and other wildlife seen in urban environments, there have been sightings of foxes in two areas on campus.
