The college conducted a diversity survey to the faculty and staff in 2009 to assess individual attitudes about diversity and perceptions of the campus climate for discussing and addressing diversity issues.

Results indicated that the overall attitude is positive regarding diversity and openness within the campus community, although many respondents, especially those who identified with under-represented groups, expressed a desire to see more progress on diversity issues, including more staff training, workshops, and awareness. The results were presented to the college community in a powerpoint presentation and are available online.
