Goucher has hired postdoctoral fellow and an additional tenure-track faculty member in environmental studies, both of whom conduct research with students. The college also ran three annual summer workshops for faculty members to integrate sustainability in their courses (across the curriculum). Students and faculty have presented their research internally, regionally, and in national conferences and in refereed journals. In addition, several Goucher grants have been submitted to NSF and other agencies, with one funded in the last two months.
