Goucher's policy is to keep all its buildings operating in the most energy efficient and sustainable way possible. In terms of on-going O & M practices, we do spring and fall commissioning of the HVAC equipment to make sure that they are running as efficiently as possible. We are continually looking for more opportunities to change out light fixtures or add occupancy sensors to boost our energy saving strategies. We also have recycling everywhere on campus and have added composting in all of our dining halls.
