A brief description of the programs sponsored by the institution to support underrepresented groups:

The Africana Community Program provides leadership in the development, coordination, and delivery of social, cultural, and educational programs and activities intended to support students of African descent and promote the education of the entire Guilford College on issues of diversity and equality.

The Latino Community Program provides academic support and advising, professional development opportunities and personal guidance.

The Native American Program offers a strong support network for Native American Students as they progress through their degree program.

The GLBTQA Program was founded in 1996 and strives to serve gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and allied students at Guilford College and in the greater Greensboro community.

A brief description of the institution’s discrimination response policy, program and/or team:

Any student can contact anyone in Residential Life or Public Safety with any concerns they may have. There are two personnel in Res Life specifically designated to respond to such concerns. The Director of Human Resources has an open door policy regarding any Title IX issues or other concerns any member or staff, faculty or student may have. Title IX training has been given to all faculty and staff members in our campus community.
