A brief description of the source of non-potable water and how it is used:

Rain barrels are strategically placed across campus to use when drought conditions exist. We use native plants across campus and do not water them unless needed; then rain barrels are used.

- Additionally, landscape designs should consist of plant materials that require little or no irrigation following establishment and utilize species that are pest resistant or tolerant to reduce the long-term cost of landscape management
