Yes

A brief description of the postconsumer food waste composting program:

Yes. We take food waste, trays, utensils, and cups (which are corn and potato based) and place them into a compost pile every day. This compost pile is then used by the arboretum team for nutrient supply as well as the horticulture produce project. The produce garden is grown for use in salads and sandwiches in the cafeteria, which completes the cycle.
