Has the institution implemented technologies or strategies to reduce the environmental impacts of snow and ice removal?:
Yes

A brief description of the snow and ice removal program, policy, or practice:

To address a cronic issue of snow/ice on one of our roads we have cut down the invasive domaniate specie forest to allow for more sunlight, thus allowing nature to melt snow/ice before courses begin. However, to compensate for the loss of biota we have planted spaced shade trees native to our climate along the road, as well as planting more trees across campus where traditional slopes were grassy fields.
