During the development of the strategic diversity planning process the community was engaged to determine the areas of need vis-à-vis diversity and inclusion. An online survey as well as focus group conversations were utilized.

The findings of the survey were used to determine five focus areas for the strategic diversity plan which include: recruitment and retention, space, student relations, teaching and learning, and community development.

A brief description of how the assessment results are shared with the campus community:

The strategic diversity planning working group organized a town hall meeting to share the goals and recommendations that were developed based on community input. Now that the plan is complete, it is posted on the Office of Diversity and Inclusion website.
