The president of HSF (elected on an annual basis by the student body) sits on Humber's Board of Governors.

Humber's staff elect one administrative and one support (staff) representative onto the Board of Governors. The term is three years. The positions on the Board are nominated by their peers (administrative for the admin staff position, the support vote for the support staff position) with an election following.

Humber College Council is made up of both staff (supervisory and non-supervisory) and faculty from across the college (current member list: http://www.humber.ca/wearehumber/staff/committees/college-council)

The council’s mandate includes reporting back to the President on key items after each monthly meeting.

Humber's support staff are members of Humber Support Staff union OPSEU local 563 (http://humbersupportunion.org/)

Faculty are members of Humber College Council. Faculty are also members of Humber Faculty Union, OPSEU Local 562 (http://humberfacultyunion.org/).
