There are numerous scholarships available for low-income students. These scholarships are provided through the ICC Educational Foundation through donations from individuals, organizations, groups, and businesses. Many of the scholarships are based on student need.

TRIO Upward Bound assists the parents of its low-income participants in preparing for the college experience. The College Yes Program Coordinator and Admission Representatives also carry out these responsibilities. Financial Aid workshops are provided at the college, in local schools, and in the community.

A comprehensive, coordinated strategy guides college activities in reaching out to and assisting low-income students in enrolling and succeeding in college. Oversight for these activities is provided through the Department of Diversity.

The college’s diverse hiring initiative requires that all members of hiring committees successfully complete diverse hiring training.
