A brief description of the mechanisms through which students have an avenue to participate in one or more governance bodies:

Each year students are able to vote on a student trustee that sits on the Board of Trustees. The Student Trustee has an advisory vote on the Board, may make and second motions, attend executive sessions, and express opinions and preferences on votes taken during the monthly business meeting.

Yes

There is (1) Student Trustee that is elected and sits on the Board of Trustees.

Student Government has held open forums in key hiring processes, including the hiring of the Vice President of Student Services and in the search for the next ICC President. The Student Trustee has an office on campus and will request feedback from students regarding topics such as potential tuition increases, concerns about wi-fi on campus, and other topics. The Student Trustee is also active at the state level in representing the student voice on issues such as the MAP grant.
