A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

Through Our Green Valley Alliance for Sustainability, we have developed a cross institutional speaker series with Saint Mary of the Woods College, Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, and Ivy Tech Community College. More recently we have started a passive solar greenhouse research project with these institutions along with the ISU Early Childhood Education Center and Purdue Extension. We developed a Sustainability Campus plan for a portion of the Indiana State University owned properties. We propose an EcoVillage as part of that plan and Indiana State University has been working with the Rose Human Institute of Technology to study the area and propose possible plans for the EcoVillage. So far one class from each institution has contributed proposals for the sustainable development of that area.
