A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:
Where possible, Fleet Services purchases vehicles with flex fuel engines capable of using E85. We are evaluating hybrid and plug in hybrid vehicles as alternatives in each vehicle class as they become available. We are currently evaluating the use of B20 diesel in our diesel powered vehicles.
