The Custodial Services Department, a division of Iowa State University Facilities Planning and Management (FP&M), ensures that all custodial staff are educated, trained, and motivated to work in an environmentally responsible manner. Part of this includes ensuring that all custodial staff is aware of their responsibilities in implementing the environmental policy. In addition, a list of environmentally preferable cleaning products and equipment that are currently used by FP&M Custodial Services is provided to all employees. Staff members are made aware that using other cleaning products in Iowa State’s buildings is strictly prohibited.
