Hall Wars is a competition on campus that encourages students to reduce energy use. The RHA (Residence Hall Association) campaigns to get students involved and makes them aware of ways to reduce energy consumption.
Recyclemania is an national competition to increase recycling rates.

Each year one residence hall wins Hall Wars for reducing their energy use.
The institution tracks recycling and recycling increased after Recyclemania.
