Does the institution collaborate with other colleges and universities to support and help build the campus sustainability community?:
Yes

A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:

The college's sustainability program makes available on their website multiple pamphlets and guides on sustainable dorm and apartment living, green offices, etc. In addition, Ithaca participates in NCUR, and we work with local colleges during Recycle Mania to promote recycling. We have also hosted the Clean Energy Summit and Forums on Fracking in the last year.

The names of local, state, regional, national, and other campus sustainability organizations or consortia in which the institution participates and/or is a member:

New York Coalition of Sustainability in Higher Education (NYCSHE)
College and University Recycling Coalition (CURC)
Sustainable Tompkins
Sustainability Center
Cayuga Sustainability Council
Advisory Committee for the Environment Team of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County
Tompkins County Rideshare Coalition
Tompkins County Climate Protection Initiative (TCCPI)

A brief summary of additional ways the institution collaborates with other campuses to advance sustainability :

In addition to being a member of many sustainability focused groups locally and statewide, the college also hosts numerous conferences in the hopes of bringing new ideas and people on campus.

We regularly promote our sustainability-related events and activities to area campuses so students/faculty and staff fromother institutions can attend/participate. We share expert resources between campuses, with faculty and staff presenting to classes on one another's campus.

Ithaca College and Cornell University, as two of the earliest institutions to create Climate Action Plans, actively participate on the Tompkins County Climate Protection Initiative, a multi-sector consortium of institutions, organizations and businesses interested in fostering greenhouse gas emissions reductions, sharing best practices and expert resources with other institutions (notably Tompkins Cortland Community College and SUNY Cortland).

The College has hosted Ed Energy Day for several years, which focuses on energy-reduction strategies specifically for the higher education sector - this event is offered free and open to all members of higher education institutions and K-12 schools.

In addition, we document our efforts to increase the overall sustainability of our campus and publish reports and feedback in higher education magazines and forums so that other universities have access to that material.

In addition, Ithaca College has collaborated with Cornell University to co-host certain presentations and activities, including the recent Youth Power Summit in Spring 2013 which was led by a team of youth leaders from various institutions and schools.
