Has the institution implemented a campus-wide inventory system to facilitate the reuse of laboratory chemicals?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

The chemical inventory program is exclusive to the academic areas and is focused on laboratory/reagent chemicals. It allows us to ensure that we can track the most hazardous chemicals, monitor their quantities and expiry (specifically for peroxide-forming substances). The inventory program does not cover chemicals used by facilities management. They rely on the storeroom to monitor the types and volumes of chemicals. It also does not include consumer product chemicals like WD-40 or spray paints which would be used in certain academic programs.
