Does the institution have building-level water consumption meters for at least one building?:
Yes

A brief description of the water metering employed:

How a building is metered for water depends on its location and age; new and renovated buildings are typically metered at the building level while older buildings are metered in a loop with other nearby buildings. JMU is moving towards a goal of metering water consumption for all buildings on campus at the building-level.

JMU's Office of Residence Life offers an online dashboard containing data on the electricity and water usage in residence hall buildings.

The percentage of building space with water metering:
45
