A brief description of the event(s):
Our School of Art, Design and Architecture holds a series of lectures for students. Speakers in the series include experts in the field of sustainable design.
Additionally, 2011 marked the University's first art, architecture and design symposium entitled "Global Practices: Architecture and Urbanism in China." This symposium featured presentations for the student body from a number of experts, several of whom discussed how sustainability is incorporated in their design work.
