In this site, information on a whole variety of efforts for campus sustainability and energy saving is available including Environment Charter and Environmental reports issued annually.

Kyoto University distributes a book called “sustainable handbook” to all the newly enrolled students, so they can understand easily and widely what they can do on and off campus for sustainability. This book includes messages from President and Kyoto City mayor, environmental load profile at Kyoto University, information about how to dispose wastes in the city, tip to select sustainability focused courses and list of student organizations to address environmental issues. The handbook is created with the environmental tax of Kyoto University.
