“UD Dry Toilet” stands for Urine Diversion Dry Toilet. It can reduce the sanitary load to the environment by separating urine and feces, without using water.

We have no waterless urinal, but we have a revolutionary dry Toilets technologies.
UD Dry Toilet Project, Research Center for Environmental Quality Management, Kyoto University, provides ''UD Dry Toilet''.
It was used effectively in the affected areas after the Great East Japan Earthquake, there are high interests from local governments, hospitals, and from NPO.
It received the grand prize of Japan Water Prize.
