A survey was sent to all faculty members asking them to self-identify courses they taught that met the criteria for a Sustainability Course or a Course that Includes Sustainability (in-depth definitions and Loyalist-specific examples were provided). They were also asked to provide a brief description of how the course met the definition and when it was last taught. A 50% response rate was achieved. The data was then analyzed and vetted by the College's Sustainability Coordinator.

The list of courses was analyzed for duplicates. All duplicates were removed so that a course was only counted once.
