Loyalist's Respect Steering Group actively celebrates the positive behaviours and attitudes that already exist on our campuses, raises awareness about the importance of accepting the many differences among us and provides opportunities to discuss and learn about this important subject. Its current focus is the development and launch of a diversity inventory survey to better understand the perceptions in the College to inform planning going forward. The Group has launched the campaign, "Respect: Pass it On", to create a dialogue on campus, hosted events and members of the committee have done class presentations to further disseminate the message. The group also developed and implemented a Respectful College Community policy to define harassment and establish procedures for dealing with concerns.
