We review our compensation to the market of like institutions on an annual basis and make recommendations for salary adjustments on an annual basis. We are currently reviewing a new process for review of salaries and will be deciding on whether to make the change or not.

A brief description of the compensation (wages and benefits) provided to the institution’s lowest paid regular, full-time employees:

Our lowest paid employees are our custodians and security officers. They are all paid more then $11.00 per hour.

Compensation is on an hourly basis. Employees receive benefits according to the full time benefits schedule. Our health insurance premium contribution of employees is based on salary, so the lowest paid employees pay less towards health insurance.

Temporary wages are determined on the same basis as regular employees. However, they would receive no benefits if employed for less than 6 months.

Wages are determined according to the regular salary scale for faculty. They are offered benefits if they teach enough classes to qualify for benefits.
