A brief description of the event(s):
The Macalester Civic Forum is major campus event and sustainability is one of the topics of the forum. Recently, Donald Worster spoke at the Civic Forum on John Muir, environmental awareness, and citizenship.
The Environmental Studies department hosts the EnviroThursday speaker series.In 2011, Elizabeth Royte, the author of "Bottlemania" (2008), spoke to the campus as part of the EnviroThursday speakers series.
