Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-in waste?:
A brief description of the program:
Starting in Spring 2011, Macalester College promoted RENT JOE BOXES as the vendor to offer box renting service to students. RENT JOE BOXES is a local green business which re-uses its moving boxes four to six times before recycling.
Students also collect materials from MoveOut that are sold at a garage sale at the beginning of the year to students and the community.
