A brief description of the socially responsible investment option for retirement plans:
Macalester College currently offers two socially responsible investment options through our two retirement plan vendors, TIAA CREF and Vanguard. These are 403(b) plans which are similar to 401(k) plans except they are limited to non-profits such as Macalester. The TIAA CREF option is called the Social Choice Account
