Yes

A brief description of the institution’s supportive sustainability partnership(s) with the local community:

We work with Republic Services and they collect all recycled materials, take them to their facilty where they are sorted and properly recycled. America in Blooms Madisonville is a local organization that is working to restore Madisonville and beautify the city and Madisonville Community College participates in this as well. Both are ongoing participation there is no set time frame.

Yes

A brief description of the institution's collaborative sustainability partnership(s):

Work with Habitat for Humanity to collect cans to help fund various projects. This is an ongoing event that touches economic and environmental aspects of Sustainability. Recycling keeps waste out of landfills while the cans are utilized to raise money to help build homes for less fortunate families. American Red Cross comes to Madisonville Community College twice a year to set up for blood drives. The blood drives help to sustain life and wellbeing by gatehring donations of blood to help save lives of people within the community and nationwide if necessary. Students, faculty, staff, and community members all have the ability to participate.
