The College’s submission includes: 180 residential/academic acres, 120 acres of College Woods and 753,942 gross square feet of built space. The submission for Maryville College includes all College policies, programs and buildings; and all campus owned properties with the exception of the Wright House, the Chilhowee Club, the Court Street Apartments, Penrose Farm and a single-family home on Hillside Avenue. These were not included in the STARS data because they are either too distant from the campus, and/or were recently acquired, preventing full accounting during the performance period. Data also suggests that these facilities have their own independent metering or billing systems. Like many other institutions with such holdings, campus maintenance standards are utilized when working on these facilities as landlord.
