A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:

- Frosh includes pamphlets from the Office of Sustainability and information is also included in the handbooks for SSMU and the residences provided to students
- The Office of Sustainability is present at RezFest and Street Fest
-Montreal Urban Community Sustainment (MUCS) project and Radical Frosh offer a series of workshops and tours presenting social and environmental issues at McGill and in Montreal (Note, however, radical frosh is attended by only 2% of new students and, as a result, reaches a small proportion of the student body)
