A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:

All buildings' centralized HVAC systems are monitored centrally for ventilation rates and temperature.

Indoor air quality complaints may be registered by way of a call centre (Tel: 514-398-4555) that is answered 24/7.

An indoor air quality complaint form, along with instructions, are available on the web site below.

Some areas are equipped with indoor air quality monitors e.g. carbon monoxide monitors. Carbon monoxide monitors are also in place in all our parking garages.

We also have continuous ammonia gas monitors, connected to Security, in the icemaking plants of our 2 hockey arenas.

EHS monitors air quality on a routine basis in designated areas e.g. the gross anatomy lab. EHS also monitors air quality on an as-needed basis, in response to indoor air quality complaints.

We also have a protocol for remediating molds.
