Does the institution limit free printing for students in all computer labs and libraries?:
A brief description of how printing is limited:
There are approximately 100 printers and copiers available for public use in various locations across campus. To use these copiers and printers, users have to purchase a copy card either through one of the 9 available card dispensers or from McGill Copy Services. Where copy cards are not used, charges are billed directly to students' DAS accounts.
All of our printers and copiers use 100% recycled paper and are defaulted to double-sided printer settings. In addition, most machines also provide users with the ability to scan documents directly to a USB key or to email the document directly to themselves.
