A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with sustainable building operation and maintenance guidelines and policies:

Over 500 Environmental Stewards on campus are part of the strategy to ensure compliance with sustainable building operations. Green Cleaning products are used in 80 percent of the space, the only exception are restrooms where products with disinfectants are utilized to eliminate pathogenic microorganisms, such as bacteria. Recycling containers are in place in 100 percent of the building space. Energy management or building automation is used in 80 percent of the space to control HVAC run time and assist with classroom space consolidation and utilization efforts.
