The Library is building and managing an institutional repository. Graduate theses are now required to be deposited and content of the repository is being expanded to include faculty research and university reports. More information can be found here: https://bearworks.missouristate.edu/

The Libraries’ offers access to DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), which contains over 10,000 peer-reviewed full text open access academic research journals. We also offer access to 300+ journals through HighWire, 1,800+ through PubMed Central, and 80 through the Wiley Online Library Open Access Backfiles.

We have an online website that can be accessed 24/7 which includes, Subject Guides, Libraries’ catalog, access to academic journals, electronic reserves, “Ask a librarian” link with multiple ways to contact the Reference Department for assistance in their research. The Catalog and some other links on the homepage can also be accessed by the general public. We are also a Federal Depository Library, providing primary research materials from the U.S. and Missouri government agencies and a full United Nations depository library. Links are also available for special services for faculty, especially scheduling an information literacy Session.
