A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):

The Academics Subcommittee and Sustainability Coordinator presented to three committees/groups comprised of deans, academic department heads, and faculty members. Presentations included parameters for inclusion in research and scholarship including sustainability. Faculty members were asked to provide a list and descriptions of each research endeavor members of the department conducted within the parameters. Once responses were received an inventory was compiled and verified it met the criteria.
