Mohawk College contracts out its cleaning services to The Hurley Group. Hurley operates under and environmental strategy which they call RealGREEN, RealCLEAN. This program uses processes and products validated by the leading 3rd-party environmental agencies and green councils, supported internally through a certified LEED AP Accredited Professional.

Hurley’s RealGREEN, RealCLEANTM is a fact-based, environmentally responsible cleaning program. Hurley is certified by, or participates in the following programs and practices:

- Environmental Choice & EcoLogo products
- Green Seal products & processes
- USGBC LEED assistance towards certification
- BOMA BESt practices & goals
- LEED AP on staff
