There is a presidentially appointed Sustainability Task Force tasked with developing short and long term sustainability goals and implementation strategies. Under that task force there are 5 working groups: energy use and transportation; sustainable food purchasing and dining operations; buildings, ground and campus field research; sustainability education and awareness; communications.

The Miller Worley Center for the Environment works with the campus community to realize the value of sustainability in all campus operations.

The Miller Worley Center for the Environment (MWCE) works with the campus to reduce the footprint of campus operations. Most recently the college has conducted a directed process to develop progressive sustainability actions to support sustainability as a priority in the College's strategic plan, the Plan for 2021. The MWCE led that planning initiative.
