A brief description of the program(s):

The Sustainability Office actively works with faculty and administration to incorporate student learning objectives into course curriculum, that both educates students about sustainability, as well as provides students with real-life project experience aimed to bolster their resume and increase their confidence when going into the work force.

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

By participating with our office, instructors are exposed to the resources that are unique to our office, namely the Sustainability Fund. When student projects are developed in a course, we can use funding to pay for the project, help students achieve their goals with the project, and act as a pseudo-client so they get both the benefit of the academic experience, while having actionable project experience. Faculty members then can use this participation to leverage more funds for courses with wider applicability, and reach more students the next time they work with out office. We also have the benefit of being able to promote classes specifically and more in a more targeted manner than the college at large, and use our office resources to do so.
