Does the institution have a local offsets program through which the institution seeks to offset its greenhouse gas emissions by implementing projects that reduce GHG emissions in the local community?:
A brief description of the program:
NSCC is constructing a local pea patch on campus for the community. This will provide the community with vegetables year round. It will also provide a net reduction in carbon emissions by reducing amount of vegetables transported locally by car, or truck.
