SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY CLUB
We strive to educate people including ourselves on sustainability and creating a large network for people who wish to reach beyond what the club has to offer. We encourage our group to go to events and courses provided by other groups. We go on tours of solar sites and geothermal sites as well as work with other resources to assist people with understanding the technology. We wish to help others understand sustainability and explore it with a supportive network and lots of fun interactive activities and events. Our aim is to educate people including ourselves on sustainability in many of its forms and to create an interactive learning environment with a large external network with the industry.

ABORIGINAL STUDENT CLUB
The purpose of ASC is to promote a community within NAIT and create awareness that there is an Aboriginal Student Club at NAIT. The club aims to:
- create awareness in the Aboriginal Students at NAIT about programs and services within the community;
- plan events, fundraising, cultural awareness, and professional development;
- become self-sustainable and make a foundation for the students that join this group in years to come;
- have social gatherings where students can network and promote themselves; and,
- to provide opportunities to mentor one another, social outings, social gatherings, home potluck parties, professional development, learn Robert's Rules of Order, society development, fundraising initiatives, learning around the clock.

ENACTUS NAIT
Enactus NAIT is a group of students dedicated to building a better tomorrow. We create impactful projects that make a difference in communities, and in people's lives. We provide students with hands on, real world experience that enables them to be a top candidate after graduation. We address needs in the community and work with individuals to help make a difference. Through the creation of a unique plan to address these needs, our students learn valuable skills that are sought after by many companies. Following graduation from NAIT our members can look forward to very successful careers with successful companies.

BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES TECHNOLOGY 2014/2015
We are students of the Biological Sciences Technology program dedicated to achieving a sense of community and camaraderie among all students within the program. We would like to achieve increased awareness surrounding environmental concerns facing our students/school/community.

GAY STRAIGHT ALLIANCE @ NAIT
The GSA at NAIT is a student run group, with staff support formed to bring together people that identify as LGBTQ as well as their straight allies. The group provides support and friendship to anyone that is interested in joining. The GSA at NAIT has been formed to bring together LGBTQ members and straight supporters in a safe space where they can feel comfortable and respected.

CONNECTING THROUGH BTECH SEMINAR SERIES
The Connecting Through BTech Seminar Series is delivered by the student-run Bachelor of Technology Club. The series is centered around bringing the NAIT community together to learn more about trending topics and to foster collaboration and student/staff interaction to make NAIT an even better place to be. On April 9, 2015, chair of EnviroNAIT Rob Akkerman delivered a presentation about campus sustainability at NAIT.

WOMEN IN TECHNOLOGY & TRADES ANNUAL SPEAKER EVENT
To enhance and elevate awareness and opportunity for women in technology fields, it is important to connect girls and women with positive role models who have made non-traditional career choices.

Every year, NAIT Women in Technology & Trades hosts a high-profile female guest speaker whose presentation underlines how they successfully transitioned into a leadership position that has impacted their community. Past speakers have included:
- 2015: Heather Payne, Entrepreneur, founder of Ladies Learning Code and HackerYou. Navigating Change, Decrypting the Solution! GET YOUR TICKETS TODAY!
- 2014: Jill Drader, Journeyman Tile Setter, Bachelor Degree, educator, entrepreneur and mother of two. BLAZE NEW TRAILS. BE TRUE TO WHO YOU ARE.
- 2013: Pamela Strand, Geologist and founder of Shear Diamonds, Be Authentic. Take Risks. Expect Greatness.
- 2012: Dr. Krista Uggerslev and Dr. Neil Fassina, Negotiating Your Future.
- 2011: Major (Ret.) Deanna Brasseur, one of the first two female CF-18 fighter pilots in the world.
- 2010: Dr. Roberta Bondar, astronaut, scientist, physician, environmental educator and acclaimed photographer.
- 2009: Arlene Dickinson, CEO of Venture Communications Ltd. and a "dragon" on CBC's hit TV show Dragons' Den.
