Number of full time program students, unduplicated headcount in 2013/2014 = 12,826 (excludes continuing education, apprenticeship, and corporate and international training programs)

38 student members from Club Culinaire contributed a total 202 hours of community service, volunteering to prepare the Boyle Street Community Centre's annual turkey dinner for Thanksgiving and preparing/serving at CIFES 20 Regions Extravaganza Evening reception in Fall 2014.

All first year Engineering Design and Drafting Technology students (~60 students) take COMM1163 Engineering Communications. A portion of the course includes a 'Professional Ethics' component which requires students complete 10 hours of volunteer service. Examples of organizations students have volunteered for include the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, Santa's Anonymous, local churches, NAIT's Open House and children's Christmas party, etc.

Students in the Animal Health Technology program (~20 students) each complete

Students in the Respiratory Therapy program (~20 students) each complete 25-30 hours of outreach at the Misericordia Hospital to teach the public how to quit smoking.

On October 8, 2014, 7 students from the Paramedic program volunteered to read to children in classes at St. Francis of Assisi as part of Read in Week, while promoting NAIT and the EMS program. Each student spent approx. 2 hours volunteering.
