Northland College hosts the Midwest Regional Collaborative for Sustainability Education, fostering dialogue around authentic transformative education. This collaborative is in its third year and features an annual unconference as well as localized projects. Partners include formal and non-formal educators from K-12s, colleges and universities, non-profits, agencies, and activists. The website for the collaborative is www.mrcse.org

Northland is also on the steering committee of the Upper Midwest Association for Campus Sustainability and has helped organize several midwestern conferences.
