Does the institution have at least one sustainability-themed certificate program through its continuing education or extension department?:
Yes

A brief description of the certificate program:

Building Environmental Systems - Operations
This program adheres to the fundamental premise that "the building as a system" is not unlike the human body, in which heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, electrical power, lighting, water and air supply are not separate isolated subjects but are connected and interdependent.
From this perspective, learners focusing on a particular subject area such as air conditioning or electrical power can quickly understand and appreciate how their decisions and actions in one area have an impact on the entire building. Program participants are therefore encouraged to find creative solutions that will improve the overall energy efficiency and environmental management of their building so that its owner and/or manager can both attain and maintain an economically competitive position.

Year the certificate program was created:
2,012
