A brief summary of papers, guides, presentations, and other resources the institution has developed to share their sustainability experience with other institutions:

We have shared information and have made some initial steps to collaborate with UCO, OSU, and OU in relation to sustainability initiatives. For example, OU helped us in our research for developing our comprehensive recycling program.

Oklahoma City University also participates in information sharing with other universities and organizations in the annual meeting of the Oklahoma Sustainability Network.

OCU is a host institution of the Oikos Scholars Program for Social and Ecological Sustainability, has worked with Greensburg Greentown in Kansas, attended the Caring for Creation conferences at Mount Sequoia, is a part of the Oklahoma Sustainabilty Network, and has worked with the Office of Sustainability OKC.

OCU has also worked with the Institute of Cultural Affairs -USA on the Peace, Poverty, and Planet Earth Conference which was held at OCU on July 12-14, 2010, and will be working with ICA-USA again on the Caring for Our HOME: Educating Moral Leaders for Ecological Sustainability conference at OCU on September 23-24, 2011.

OCU hosts conferences and lectures on sustainability that are open to the public and students from other area universities, OCU participates with other universities in the Oklahoma Sustainability Network conferences in sharing reasources and infomation about sustainability. OCU is also a member of AASHE and sends representatives to AASHE meetings to share information.
