Yes

A brief description of the assessment(s):

In addition to the 2005 Campus Climate Report, several units have done diversity assessments as part of their diversity action plans. Most of these were done in the form of surveys. The 2005 Campus Climate Report will be updated this year.

The Office of Community and Diversity, the Office of Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity and Office of Women's Advancement and Gender Equity also did a diversity inventory of all of the academic units over the summer. The non academic units will be addressed this year.

Year the assessment was last administered:
2,005

A brief description of how the results of the assessment(s) are used in shaping policy, programs, and initiatives:

Data from department-level and campus wide assessments are used to create diversity action plans for individual OSU departments. These plans are driven from the personnel within the departments and specific tasks are created to address findings of the assessments. This often involves creation of department-level committees and task forces to implement specific actions.
