The Sustainability Manager has recently developed new signage for both the campus recycling program and the composting program. Recycling signage details what items are/are not acceptable for recycling and are affixed to all recycling receptacles on campus.
Composting signage is placed in the kitchen area of McConnell Dining Hall to inform staff as well as on the food waste receptacles in the dining area to inform students.

A brief description of any pre-consumer food waste composting program employed by the institution:

Pre-consumer food waste is collected at the McConnell Dining Hall. Dining hall staff are trained twice a year on which foods can go into the food waste bins and educational signage is posted in the food preparation areas.

Post-consumer food was is collected at the McConnell Dining Hall. Food waste bins are located next to the waste bins and educational signage details what can/cannot be placed into the food waste bins.
