Excluding students workers, the lowest paid regular employee receives a hourly salary of 20$/h. The benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, holidays...) represent an additional amount of more than 25% to this hourly wage.

Polytechnique provides a full insurance program as well as a defined-contribution retirement plan for permanent employees. A committee monitors the rights of participants and beneficiaries, endeavouring to serve everyone’s interests. This committee recognizes the importance of supporting employees on the brink of a major step in their lives by holding annual workshops on retirement preparation.

Les Petits Génies, a childcare centre, is available at an excellent rate exclusively for the children of Polytechnique employees.

For temporary employees who don't have access to insurance, a financial compensation is provided to cover the cost of a health insurance (+4% of the salary). If the temporary employee does not have paid holidays in his contract, another 4% of the salary is added.
